Space Systems Command acquires and fields cutting edge solutions in space to protect the Nation, its citizens, and allies - solutions that must be protected to ensure continual, long-term, support of the nation thousands of miles away in space. Provide personnel security advice, support, and oversight to ensure only the most trustworthy individuals work on the integration of space systems capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess an In-depth knowledge of Space System Command, ability to effectively lead, motivate and guide workforce. Operate in dynamic organization structure and skill to communicate both orally and in writing.
The candidate must exhibit a mastery of problem-solving and the ability to understand complex problems. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key individuals/groups within and outside immediate work unit including field- level representatives, and ability to advise senior leaders and field-level representatives.
Top Secret Clearance; Intimately familiar with Special Access Program Security processes; Knowledge of JADE system of record; bachelor's degree preferred, Leadership experience; Security Professional Education Development (SPēD) Security Fundamentals Professional Cerification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC); 5 or more years supporting SAP programs. Knowledge of processes and procedures related to program management and strategic planning activities needed to execute projects and/or studies within established financial and time constraints. 2. Ability to encourage new ideas and innovations; manage human, financial and information resources strategically and build coalitions to achieve common goals. 3. Ability to identify problems and use sound judgment and decisions to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations.
