Job Summary

Force Renewal Programs are designed to attract students & recent graduates with management/leadership potential to careers as Federal employees with the Air Force Civilian Service.

This is accomplished by recruiting & selecting high-caliber candidates & training them to become competent, effective, & productive employees in a variety of career fields; providing training & developmental opportunities & preparing them to successfully complete required training & developmental assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Provides assistance on staff assistance visits and staff surveys for serviced activities. Participates in conducting industrial security visits for on-site visitor groups. Schedules and assists with conducting recurring surveys for the establishment and maintenance of controlled areas. Administers elements of the security education program. Researches and develops educational materials to assist users in implementing security countermeasures.

Assists in evaluating the security education program and provides recommendations and corrective actions as required. Reviews annual security training requirements of serviced activities. Assists with maintenance and processing of Security Information Files. Provides assistance and guidance on security clearance eligibility. Ensures, with supervision, the applicable inquiries/investigations are conducted for all security violations.

Assists in classification reviews and damage assessments. Through supervisory channels, notifies appropriate investigative agencies when criminal activity is suspected. Assists in processing Security Police incident and OSI reports of investigation. Assists, conducts, and monitors conferences, seminars, symposia, exhibits, or other gatherings where classified material will be discussed.

Provides assistance with technical security guidance pertaining to the construction of classified storage vaults, secure rooms, and classified conference rooms. Assists in providing input to base plans requiring security or law enforcement operations. Participates in organizational programs and special projects as directed.

Requirements & Education

IF USING EDUCATION TO QUALIFY: If position has a positive degree requirement or education forms the basis for qualifications, you MUST submit transcripts with the application.
