This position is located in R8-Mission Support Division. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced security professional skilled in leading personnel and physical security programs, advising senior officials, ensuring compliance, managing a small team, and resolving complex security issues as the local SME for a Regional office.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as a Security Specialist. Typical assignments include: Managing comprehensive security programs involving physical, information, industrial, and operational security requirements. Advising senior officials and stakeholders on security policy, compliance, risk, and program implementation matters.
Conducting security surveys, inspections, reviews, and analyses to assess program effectiveness and compliance. Developing security policies, procedures, reports, training materials, and long-range program recommendations. Supervising two subordinate staff members by assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and supporting employee development. What else do I need to know?
