This position is located in Office of the Chief Nuclear Reactor Inspector, Division of Oversight and Compliance Programs, Allegations and Enforcement Branch. The supervisor is Shelbie Lewman, Acting Branch Chief. This position is subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Senior Allegations Program Manager duties. Such duties include but are not limited to: Provides authoritative guidance, direction and oversight of the NRC Allegation Management Program. This includes development and maintenance of Management Directive 8.8.
Prepares complex briefings, papers, and letters in support of staff presentations to senior-level officials at the Commission, Congress, responses to the general public and other organized groups regarding regulatory considerations of allegations and investigations Serves as one of the focal points for allegations matters needing coordination with the Office of General Counsel.
Prepares coordinated responses and information to assigned correspondence, including communications from Congressional sources, Federal, State and local officials licensees, the general public, and various industrial and civic organizations regarding allegations. Performs special projects as directed regarding allegations or serves on a task force to resolve issues concerning allegations. These task force duties involve handling of sensitive and confidential information.
