Job Summary
This position is located in the Division of Finance, Treasury Branch and is responsible for improving the accuracy of assessment base data reporting from insured financial institutions. Additional selections may be made from this vacancy announcement to fill similar vacancies that occur subsequent to this announcement.
Key Responsibilities
Develops and maintains the Assessment Information Management System (AIMS) to ensure compliance with assessment-related Corporate policies and procedures. Facilitates the implementation and maintenance of the quarterly assessment processes to ensure that accurate invoices are available to insured institutions within the prescribed timeframes.
Directs the review of proposed changes and modifications to the Report of Condition; Advance Notices of Proposed Rulemaking; Proposed Rules; Final Rules; and Financial Institution Letters to ensure assessment reporting requirements are met. Performs analysis/verification of assessment-related Call Report data, including assessment compliance reviews of national and regional banking organizations.
Provides customer service to senior officials of banking organizations, their legal representatives, and other interested parties, including answering inquiries and providing information pertaining to assessment payments and processes. Prepares/reviews/edits policies, procedures, management reports, Board cases, Assessment Appeals Committee cases, correspondence, and assessment compliance review reports.
