Job Summary
This position is located in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, Division of Emergency Preparedness and Responses. The supervisor is Cindy Rosales-Cooper. This position is subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements. This position is subject to security ownership restriction reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform the full range of Senior Emergency Preparedness (EP) Specialist duties. Such duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for leading, writing, reviewing, and managing the development of emergency preparedness program policies, rules, initiatives, requirements, guidance, and related activities.
Leads efforts with domestic stakeholders and foreign counterparts associated with NRC EP policies, regulations, oversight and licensing, including complex and controversial issues. Leads others and conducts reviews and evaluations of nuclear power reactor emergency plans using regulations, guidance documents, Commission policies, management directives, and procedures.
