Job Summary
You will serve as a Senior Policy Advisor with Bureau of Land Management. Headquarters Office, Office of the Director, Washington, DC
Key Responsibilities
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information and matters involving the Director, Deputy Director's Office and Executive Leadership Team.
Acts as key liaison between the Director, Deputy Director's Office, and Executive Leadership Team and operational administrative functions, requiring discretion, accuracy, judgment, and knowledge, of federal policies and procedures. Directs or personally conducts confidential studies and special projects at the request of the Director, Deputy Directors, and Executive Leadership Team.
Provides the Director's, Deputy Director's Office, and Executive Leadership Team with options, alternatives, and recommended courses of action on matters that may significantly affect policy, programs, or organizational operations.
Requirements & Education
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.
