The primary purpose of this position is to implement and manage the installation Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program and serve as a key resource to assist in the ongoing effort to institutionalize core values and ideals throughout the DAF.
Serves as the single point of contact to coordinate victim advocacy, support, and response activities.
Manages SAPR reports and referrals, to include data entry of official reports of sexual assault, case management, and SAPR related inquires into the Department of Defense Sexual Assault Incident Database (DSAID) and reports of sexual harassment by DAF Service members into the Military Sexual Harassment Advocacy Database (MSHAD), ensuring compliance with DoD and Service policies, legal requirements, and guidelines ensuring a high level of data quality.
Assists with administrative and training programs, improvement initiatives, and program evaluation by providing feedback and suggestions to the Principal SARC, as applicable. The SARC ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the SAPR VAs and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, work products, and services.
