The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional accounting services related to the financial management of the monetary resources of Headquarters Unites States Air Forces in Europe (HQ USAFE).

Key Responsibilities

Serves as senior operating accountant responsible for reviewing the implementation of financial accounting and disbursing systems. Serves as senior operating accountant at MAJCOM staff level responsible for developing fiscal and financial management procedures, and guidelines for he installations level FSO. Provides staff coordination and guidance for military banking/credit union operations within USAFE.

Functions as the USAFE project office with responsibility for special or one-time projects within the area of funds control, in terms of maintaining accountability over funds and providing reliable accounting data, and the reporting of violations of the Anti-Deficiency Act (ADA).
