This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Headquarters Fiscal Affairs (HQFA). The position supports the management of the full range of Programming, Budgeting, and Execution activities and services that build and execute the Management Directorate (MGMT) and Office of the Secretary and Executive Management (OSEM) budgets in collaboration with DHS leadership, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and Congress.

As a Supervisory Budget Analyst, GS-0560-14, your typical work assignments may include: Reviews the work of assigned staff for content and compliance with office, agency, and government-wide policies, regulations, and procedures. Coordinates and contributes to Departmental, Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and Congressional requests for information.
Collaborates with budget and programming analysts at Department of Homeland Security (DHS) headquarters and DHS Components in fulfilling such requests. Initiates and conducts (as requested by the Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, or Budget and Finance Directors), special studies and surveys or projects to identify, aid, or resolve specific situations.
Supports the financial preparation activities that enable and maintain procurement actions and execution of contracts for Management Directorate (MGMT) and Office of the Secretary and Executive Management (OSEM) program offices.
