Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisory Budget Officer, you will perform the following duties: Oversee the management, formulation, executing and tracking of the Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) budget and financial operations. Manage the access to use of financial and accounting systems and serve as an advisor to management. Develop, recommend and review financial policies and procedures to implement process improvements.

Develop, validate, certify and update budget cost tables, annual spend plans and labor projections to manage the accounts payable process. Ensure transactions are in accordance with audit requirements and financial controls. Oversee and manage acquisition planning and procurement business processes. Manage purchase card usage in relation to fund management, cost estimates and planning of commitments and obligations and activity based on cost analysis.

Provide the full range of supervision and direction to a subordinate staff by planning and assigning work to be accomplished based on difficulty of work and capabilities of employees. Evaluate work performance and provide counseling and instructions on administrative matters. Interview candidates for positions and recommend and initiate Human Resources (HR) actions (e.g., promotions, awards, training, disciplinary, etc.).
