Job Summary
This position is located in the Voting Section (VOS). As the Supervisory Civil Rights Analyst, you will serve as a Supervisory Civil Rights Analyst, leading and managing an organizational unit of leaders, civil rights analysts, and support personnel, focused on the impact of major national civil rights policies, problems, and/or issues involving controversial, precedent-setting, or exceptionally complex factual and legal issues of intense public interest.

The incumbent will serve as a Supervisory Civil Rights Analyst.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Assign work based on an evaluation of the incoming work requirements and the specialized skills and workload of the subordinate staff. Observe workers' performance, provide feedback, and evaluate employee performance.
Balance work between and among teams and team members and establish and manage systems for workload and workflow tracking, monitoring, and reporting. Ensure productive flow of the work from analyst to legal reviewer and back. Review, study, and evaluate policies, procedures, and operations. Design and implement measures to improve and enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity (e.g., expanded automation, improved team building, re-engineered work processes).
