The primary purpose is to serve as a first level supervisor, managing the Systems Development and Integration team by applying technical expertise and professional engineering to modeling and simulation systems that support development and operational test and evaluation (DT&E and OT&E) programs.
Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Serve as Systems Development and Integration Lead for DTTR-E modeling & simulation systems. Report on virtual simulator operational readiness in the areas of flight science, performance, mission systems, avionics, and flight control systems.
Prepare technical documentation of simulator development and operation which describe, in detail, mechanization techniques, new or unique software algorithms, operations procedures, configuration control. Perform technical work using classified information in various media and formats. Develop, prioritize and report on organization performance goals and objectives.
