The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as Chief of the Capabilities and Integration Branch providing planning, direction, organization, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to A6OC and to be the subject matter expert for Cyber and Intel system integration and deployment.
DUTY 1: Serves as the 16 AF/A6 subject matter expert in enabling communications for 16 AF mission capabilities. DUTY 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. DUTY 3: Represents A6 and collaborates with a variety AF and DOD organizations.
DUTY 4: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of 16th AF/A6OC ensuring that A6OC complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
