The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Environmental Section.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Environmental Section, ensuring that (functional work area) complies with legal and regulatory requirements Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies developmental and training needs of employees and provides or arranges required development and training. Prepares or directs the preparation of planning, programming, and budgeting system.
Directs the development of briefing packages, reports, and other forms of communication to higher headquarters.
