Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist. You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. Duty Location: Elephant Butte, New Mexico
Key Responsibilities
Ensures safe, reliable operation of assigned dam and water infrastructure through daily monitoring, maintenance, and preventive actions. Develops long- and short-term maintenance plans and coordinates work with Powerplant and Water Operations staff. Serves as a Contracting Officer Representative, developing statements of work, ensuring alignment with project requirements, and resolving issues independently.
Reviews completed work, integrates inspections recommendations, and coordinates completion of recommendations. Tracks and reports recommendations to Region Dam safety. Manages personnel, resources, and budgets to support effective maintenance of gates, valves, and related systems.
Requirements & Education

Foreign Education: To receive credit for education completed outside the United States, you must show proof that the education has been submitted to a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education programs.
