What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you serve as a Supervisory Facilities Operations Specialist. . Typical assignments include: Providing facility management leadership & direction for the operations and serves as an effective member of the facility management leadership team. Collaborating on maintenance and operations decisions regarding mechanical equipment repair/replacement, and maintenance.
Developing and draft guides and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all building systems and equipment. Maintains documentation, guides and SOPs of all building systems and equipment ensuring accuracy. Working with Contracting Officer to draft and review contracts; develop Statement of Work for standard service contracts or unusual or new construction repair and alterations; and prepare project scope, descriptions and justifications.
Evaluating bids or proposals; and provides management oversight of awarded contracts and services. Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work; and assigns work to subordinates based on priorities; evaluates work performance of subordinates.
