Job Summary
This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Investment and Innovation in Washington, DC. The incumbent serves as the Chief of Licensing in the Office of Licensing which is a sub-office within OII. The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Director of the Office of Licensing (Director) in managing the activities associated with the licensing functions of the SBIC program.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisory Financial Analyst GS-1160-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Supervises, under direction of the Director of Licensing, SBIC license applicant throughput, including all production, projects and priorities established by the Director's plan. The incumbent directly supervises the daily casework of a team of financial analysts and program support staff.
Assists the Director of Licensing administer the Investment Information System license tracking system and related components. Coordinates and assists in the development and implementation of licensing policies that effectively target areas where small businesses have inadequate access to capital in ways that responsibly mitigate risk. Provides information to SBA license applicants in accordance with the SBA SOP 10 10.
Assists the Director of Licensing with supervising Office of the Licensing.
