This position is located at the Fort Peck Service Unit. The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership and oversight of all operating systems that support the following activities; generation of revenue, cost management, financial projections and budget development, and technical support for financial planning related to assisting the service unit in assuming management of functions. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R.
37.5 (2021).
Key Responsibilities
Implements financial systems and policies to identify and manage revenue generation and expenditures occurring within the FPSU. Plans strategies, directs and administers those support activities concerned with general business operations. Directs the management of Contract Health Coordinator, Patient Registration technicians, Purchasing Agent, Billing Technicians, and Benefits coordinators.
Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work to subordinates based on priorities and capabilities of employees; evaluates work performance of subordinates; advise or counsel employees on work and administrative matters; interview candidates for positions, recommend appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions; hear and resolve complaints from employees; effects minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands; identify training needs of employees; approves leave, etc.
