Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Chief and program manager, organizing, directing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees within the Civil Engineer Squadron Portfolio Optimization Element. Key Responsibilities

Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Element. Develops Element goals and objectives that integrate organization and Engineering Flight objectives. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the Element with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other elements and flights in Base Civil Engineering and other offices involved in areas related to Element activities. Communicates and coordinates Element issues with higher headquarters, regulatory agencies, other installation units, community officials, etc.

Directs the development and execution of Element budget, and preparation of Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) documentation in support of engineering planning.
