Job Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS), Division of Program Operations (DPO).
As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-14, you will serve as the Deputy Director overseeing Medicaid and CHIP operations, staff, policy implementation, technical guidance, complex projects, and partnerships with federal, state, Tribal, local, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Deputy Director overseeing planning and coordination for implementing and interpreting federal laws and regulations governing Medicaid and CHIP operations and partnerships with states, territories, Tribal, and local governments.
