This position is located in the Nashville Area Office of the Indian Health Service in Nashville, Tennessee. The primary purpose of the position is to direct, coordinate, and evaluate information technology services and resources supporting the Nashville Area Office and Service Unit clinical, administrative, financial, and operational programs. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Oversee the operation, security, reliability, and improvement of information systems; coordinate responses to major outages, cybersecurity events, and other service disruptions. Develop IT resource and budget requirements, support technology acquisitions, and coordinate contractor and vendor services.
Supervise IT staff, including a subordinate supervisor; assign work, evaluate performance, develop employees, and advise senior leadership on technology needs, risks, and priorities.
