Job Summary
This vacancy is for a Supervisory International Trade Specialist in the International Trade Administration within the Department of Commerce.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisory International Trade Specialist, you will perform the following duties: Assessing the impact of foreign government actions on the competitiveness of U.S. industries. Developing and carrying out programs and engagements to strengthen U.S. industry international competitiveness and improve the competitive position of U.S. industry in foreign markets. Analyzing the acquisition of foreign citizens of domestic industry assets for its impact on national security.
Communicating analyses and program details to both internal and external audiences through staff meetings, speaking engagements, internet content, reports, and briefing materials. This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Supervisory International Trade Specialist GS-1140-15, FPL GS-15 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
This position is also advertised under ITA-IA-MP-26-13048788, which is open to Merit Promotion/Direct Hire/Delegated Examining eligible applicants. You must apply to both announcements if you want to be considered for both.
