Job Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisory IT Specialist (Applications Software), you will: Serve as the senior technical authority for Enterprise Case Adjudication and Processing Environment (ECAPE) application architecture, engineering, and lifecycle management. Ensure integration of cybersecurity throughout the application lifecycle and continuous alignment with FISMA, applicable NIST frameworks, and agency security policies.
Oversee ECAPE operational performance, incident management, problem management, and change management to ensure mission continuity and user service levels. Lead Agile product teams using iterative development practices, backlog refinement, sprint/release planning, and delivery forecasting. Provide strategic direction for ECAPE modernization and operational improvement.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
