Job Summary
This SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) position, is located in the Operations Section of a Base Communications Unit and is part of the CA 146 AW. This position is concurrently announced with AGR A26-258. Only one of the announced positions will be filled. Referral and selection will be IAWCNGFPR335.
Key Responsibilities
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK), GS-2210-12, is to perform a full range of supervisory functions providing administrative control and technical direction and oversight for subordinate personnel within the Section.
Responsible for analyzing customer requirements and managing the systems administration, optimization, operational requirements and maintenance associated with the various local area/wide area networks (LAN/WAN), wireless systems, and voice systems utilized by both Wing and tenant organizations on the base. Manages customer IT requirements to meet operational, training, and readiness missions. Ensures viable training programs are developed for assigned functions.
May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
