Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Chief, Joint Exercise Division in the Joint Training and Exercise Directorate (J7), NORAD and USNORTHCOM, a Combatant Command (COCOM), with responsibility for directing the activities of the Division. Duties As Division Chief, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Division.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with the highest senior level executives (e.g., Chief of Missions, Consulate General, GO/FO/SES, and O6/GS-15) within OSD, Joint Staff, other Combatant Commands and interagency mission partners.
Provides expert advice and guidance on Joint Training policy, plans, procedures, actions, and milestones necessary to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of exercises to improve the Command's readiness posture.
This position is with Air Force Elements NORAD, Department of the Air Force.

The posted pay range is $151850 – $197200/yr.
