The primary purpose of this position is as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to serve as the Maintenance Operations Superintendent providing staff support to unit maintenance activities including but not limited to contingency/war/mobility planning; budgeting; maintenance planning and scheduling, productivity data analysis, and training, maintenance operations center, maintenance supply support; manpower; support agreements; and other.
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs full-time activities of the Maintenance Operations and advises the Maintenance Group (MXG) Senior ART concerning assigned programs. DUTY 1: Manages, develops, and directs key programs, activities for Maintenance Operations and the Maintenance Group (MXG). DUTY 2: Directs the accomplishment of a variety of special projects/studies for the wing/group. DUTY 3: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
DUTY 4: Represents Maintenance Operations at conferences, working groups, management reviews as well as with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. DUTY 5: Provides maintenance support for deployment requirements. Plans for and supports preparations to provide aircraft maintenance and logistics personnel, equipment, supplies and expendables to sustain both wartime and peacetime operations.
DUTY 6: Advises the Maintenance Group senior ART/Commander on maintenance support matters.
