The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the 433d Medical Group.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of 433 MDG, ensuring that the 433 MDG complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and 433 MDG objectives. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
Represents 433 MDG with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Wing Commander, Group Commanders, Senior ART/AGRs, and the 59th MDW. As supervisory medical administrative specialist directs subordinate employees engaged in administration, logistics, resource management, and medical paraprofessional activities.
Exercises full range of personnel management responsibilities over full-time civilian commander support staff, medical ARTs, AGRs and civilian resource advisor. Manages and monitors group manpower resources and allocations. Ensures implementation of all AFRC-imposed manpower controls including officers, enlisted, and civilian strength levels, grades, under-grade/over-grade, and overages.
