This position starts at a salary of $111,301.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $144,694.00 (GS-13, Step 10). In this Supervisory Mission Support Specialist position, you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals analyzing and refining existing work methods and developing new methods and procedures.
Typical work assignments include: Providing complex administrative services, including, but not limited to, management and information systems, budget, finance, procurement, personnel, telecommunications, logistics, records and files, printing, mail, travel, and office equipment. Serving as a supervisor to a group of administrative employees.
Developing and prescribing procedures and techniques, while assigning and explaining work requirements to subordinate staff to achieve efficiency of services rendered while increasing productivity. Carrying out Equal Employment Opportunity policies and program activities, communicating support of these policies to subordinates and encouraging active participation in EEO program activities and training.
Establishing production standards and performance requirements, and advising employees of those requirements and keeping them informed of their progress.
