This position is located in the Red Lake Service Unit (RLSU), Bemidji Area, Indian Health Service. The position serves as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing services across inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, and emergency care settings. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Directly supervises subordinate nurse managers/supervisors and provides oversight of nursing and support staff. Assist with the implementation of an effective, on-going program to measure, assess, and improve the quality of nursing care delivered to patients. Assists in supervising the nursing staff in performance of the work to include assigning, directing, and reviewing work.
