Joining the Secret Service, Office of Field Operations, Forensic Service Division will allow you to oversee a photographic laboratory facility that provides a variety of forensic, technical and surveillance photographic services utilizing the latest technology. The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Photographer in the Office of Field Operations, Forensic Service Division. Typical work assignments include: Processing and printing photosensitive materials by using either automated machine processing methods or antiquated chemical processing methods when necessary to obtain usable images from negatives or other film products in the department's archives.
Advising the Division Chief on the implications and feasibility of program plans, proposals, and recommendations. Preparing comprehensive recommendations regarding the development and/or modification of Section policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Coordinating the work of photographers engaged in carrying out the various functions of the Digital Photography and Forensic Photography sections.
