Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as first-level supervisor, providing technical and administrative supervision over subordinates/employees and to serve as the senior requirements manager and program analyst providing expertise in planning, developing, implementing, and directing modernization and sustainment of mission planning, airdrop, electronic flight bag (EFB), and airborne communication systems/programs.
Duties: Plans, organizes, oversees and directs the activities of the EFB and Missions Planning Requirements team, ensuring that the team complies with legal and regulatory requirements, established defense department and service guidance and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the HQ AMC to HQ USAF, USTRANSCOM and other AF MAJCOMs.
Applying Air Force military rated aviator experience analyzes, develops, and evaluates detailed plans, goals, and objectives for modernization and requirements management of assigned major command programs.
Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff service functions and activities to secure cooperation, resolve controversial matters, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned programs.
