Job Summary
As a Supervisory Program Analyst with the US Office of Personnel Management, Office of the Inspector General, Office of Legal and Legislative Affairs, Administrative Sanctions Group, you will oversee administrative sanctions case analysis, research, and recommendations; develop program policies and procedures; monitor implementation of sanctions; provide stakeholder guidance; and supervise program staff.
Key Responsibilities
Oversees administrative sanctions case analysis, research, evaluations, and recommendations concerning health care provider misconduct and potential sanctions. Develops and evaluates policies, procedures, case-management methods, and automated techniques used to administer the sanctions program. Analyzes evidence, statutes, and regulations and prepares decision memoranda recommending suspensions, debarments, monetary penalties, waivers, exceptions, or reinstatements.
Evaluates health insurance carriers' implementation of sanctions and coordinates with auditors, investigators, contracting officials, and other stakeholders to address noncompliance. Provides information and guidance to health care providers, health insurance carriers, Federal agencies, and other organizations concerning sanctions and due process procedures.
Plans and assigns subordinate work, establishes priorities and performance standards, evaluates performance, provides guidance, and carries out other supervisory responsibilities.
