WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Public Health Analyst, you will: Direct a public health, healthcare, or related program: Direct the National Hansen's Disease Program by establishing program priorities, policies, budget, and operational objectives and evaluating program effectiveness to improve organizational performance and patient outcomes.
Manage organizational resources: Direct the Program's fiscal, human capital, information technology, facilities, and administrative resources to ensure sound stewardship of Federal funds and effective mission accomplishment.
Advise senior leadership: Provide authoritative advice and guidance to senior officials on complex public health policy and program matters, including assessing policy, legislative, and regulatory developments and their implications for agency plans, policies, and priorities.
Perform workforce management functions: Exercise full supervisory responsibility for subordinate staff, including workforce planning, performance management, employee development, and labor and employee relations.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
