The primary purpose of this position is: to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over 22nd Security Forces Squadron, Operations and Training Section. The Deputy Security Officer, shares with the Commander and Operations Officer the full scope of responsibility for managing the activities of the organization. Works with the Security Forces Commander and Operations Officer in the development of organizational goals and objectives.
DUTY 1: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the 22nd Security Forces Squadron, Operations and Training Section. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and Security Forces Operations objectives. DUTY 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
DUTY 3: Represents the Security Forces Squadron, Operations and Training Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with personnel, manpower, other staff officials, and municipal and other law enforcement departments.
DUTY 4: Reports to the Operations Officer and Squadron Commander of Security Forces and performs other auxiliary, security and supervisors to explain resources and training organizational policy and procedures, resolve problems that arise, and gather program feedback.
