Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command (HQ AFRC), Special Security Office (A2S) protecting the command from espionage, terrorism, and threats of unauthorized disclosure and/or compromise of information.
Key Responsibilities
Duties: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of HQ AFRC/A2S, ensuring that personnel, information, physical, industrial, communications, computer and foreign disclosure security programs involving SCI for the entire MAJCOM comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents HQ AFRC/A2S with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Develops, directs and enforces MAJCOM SCI computer/information systems and information assurance policies, procedures, and controls. Provides AFRC and subordinate organizations worldwide with authoritative guidance on all aspects concerning physical security programs for the development, construction, and maintenance of SCIFs.
Oversees and directs the MAJCOM Personnel Security program to ensure accomplishment of AFRC missions, goals and objectives through proactive application of security principles, policies, and practices.
