The Social Work Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight of multiple programs that are complex and serve Veterans with high psychosocial and medical needs. The incumbent supervises Social Workers (SW) within the following areas: Community Living Center (CLC), Acute Rehabilitation Unit, Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), and Home Based Primary Care (HBPC).This position is located at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center within Social Work Service.

Assist the Chief of Social Work Service with the programs' resource and fiscal management, including monitoring control points, participation in the development of the budget, operating within the budget, and accounting for appropriated funds. Develop local policies and procedures in accordance to VHA and Medical Center policy, Federal, State and Local regulations, and Joint Commission requirements.
Provide leadership, direction, orientation, coaching, in-service training, staff development, and continuing education programs and opportunities for assigned staff. Collect and maintain statistical and performance data, prepares reports and oversees performance improvement activities related to REC/PACT areas. Provide team leadership, conducting regular staff meetings to coordinate the provision of services in compliance with established policy and procedure.
Provide Issue Briefs for reportable incidents to the Facility, VISN and VHACO. Oversee program operations and evaluations, identifying areas for improvement, gathering relevant data, assessing the data, developing and implementing ideas for improvement, and evaluating efficacy of improvement efforts.
Evaluate the program and services and makes recommendations for new services based on outcome data, and develops new initiatives and refine current program policies and procedures to meet the needs of veterans enrolled in the program in an ever-changing environment. Coordinate educational and marketing services to veterans, staff and the community.

Child Care Subsidy: After 60 days of employment, full time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for a childcare subsidy up to 25% of total eligible childcare costs for eligible children up to the monthly maximum of $416.66.
