Job Summary

This is for FY 2027. This position is part of the Department of War, War Media Activity (WMA). The incumbent will be responsible for the interdepartmental coordination of broadcast programming through the traffic system, the creation of daily broadcast logs, command information (CI) placement, and the tracking, acquisition, and management of broadcast media.

Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisory Television Traffic Continuity Coordinator at the GS-1001-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Works as supervisor for approximately 4-6 civilian employees performing Traffic and Media Management functions. Directs a highly specialized technical staff section performing broadcast traffic, continuity, and media management operations.

Oversee the specialized media management workflow to support timely acquisition, ingestion, and cataloging of television assets. Plans and directs the daily work to be accomplished by subordinates, actively coordinating multi-shift operations and schedules to guarantee comprehensive, seven-day/weekend operational coverage. Ensures administrative and contract compliance protocols are followed for TV programming agreements.

Reviews of contract processing metrics and coordinates with the agency Contract Office to verify technical delivery parameters are met.
