PUERTO RICO NATIONAL GUARD ARMY TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT COLA: 2.49% DUTY LOCATION: JFHQ-PR, Camp Santiago Joint Training Center (CSJTC), Salinas, PR
Key Responsibilities
DUTIES: As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (D0561000), GS-2005-6, you will provide services in support of inventory control, storage, and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is primary sedentary, however, there may be walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items and/or files.
No special physical demands required. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is typically performed indoors in an environment requiring normal safety precautions typical of an office setting. The area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated.
Requirements & Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in a college university, technical or vocational school may be substituted at the rate of one academic year of study (30 semester's hours or 20 classroom hours of instruction per week) for SIX (6) months of specialized experience. Courses must be directly related to the work of the position.
