Operating as a senior technical authority, the incumbent provides authoritative expertise across assigned Space Staff programs, identifies systemic operating problems, resolves conflicting priorities, and shapes strategic communications, high-level staff papers, and executive products to govern the executive battle rhythm and support senior leader decision-making.

Requiring exceptional communication skills, sharp interpersonal judgment, adaptability, and the discretion to handle sensitive information, the successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, meet special-sensitive position requirements, and operate effectively under travel and unscheduled overtime demands.
