Job Summary
This vacancy is for a Trade and Industry Analyst in the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Export Administration, Office of Strategic Industries and Economic Security, Defense Programs Divison.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trade and Industry Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Researches, analyzes, and interprets complex trade and industry data and information. Identifies problems in program operations and makes recommendations to resolve complicated issues involving regulatory compliance, technical obstacles, or delivery of services and programs. Performs program management and regulatory oversight and addresses issues impacting businesses or the public.
Analyzes and evaluates programs and issues related to the U.S industrial base, national security, and/or critical technologies. This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Trade and Industry Analyst GS-1101-12, FPL GS-13 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
