Training Division - Glynco, GA The selectee of this position serves as a Training Coordinator Technician. You will be responsible for coordinating administrative aspects of assigned training program classes, conferences, and other training events.
As a Training Coordinator Technician at the GS-1702-12 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Preparing a variety of materials including training and classroom materials, training class rosters, training schedules, completion of student certificates, graduation awards and routine correspondence.
Ensuring that proper Records Management practices are applied to the creation, maintenance, storage and disposition of Student Records, Class Files and other records in compliance with all applicable rules, laws, and regulations. Performing a variety of functions dealing with automated trainings systems and products.
Responding to inquiries regarding training opportunities, regulatory requirements, eligibility requirements, application procedures, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests; and other requests for information and guidance as needed. Maintaining contact with the student and working closely with the students' leadership to ensure the students are approved to attend training.
Communicating effectively, orally and in writing, with future and current students, student's family members and other individuals external to the agency.
