The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Technical Training Instructor performing all technical training instructor classroom-related activities, supporting officer course curriculum development, modification, and/or revision efforts in initial skills, advanced, and/or supplemental Technical Training courses.
Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic and/or advanced technical/administrative levels of the Airfield Operations Officer instruction courses. Researches, develops, revises and recommends updates to the Airfield Operations Officer course materials in accordance with established learning objectives. Plans, develops, executes, and evaluates a comprehensive and effective training program. Prepares daily lesson plans.
Maintains professional and technical proficiency and accomplishes difficult, but well precedented special projects related to specialty area, to include staff surveillance visits to various training activities.
