The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the installation focal point for all traffic management related issues to include but not limited to personal property shipments, passenger travel, and contract quality assurance. Personal property program administration. Coordinates and ensures proper implementation of peacetime and contingency traffic management programs, policies, procedures, transportation management systems and techniques incident to the preparation and movement of personal property, e.g., household goods, unaccompanied baggage, privately owned vehicles and special items such as mobile homes and boats but not limited to these items.
Interviews and assists Department of Defense personnel in planning and organizing passenger and personal property moves with the Traffic Management Office. Passenger movement program administration. Reviews travel orders and determines entitlements for active-duty military, reserve component members, DoD civilians, and dependents for worldwide travel to include remote and isolated sites. Administers personal property inspection program.
Performs other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned in support of the organization. Serves as Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) providing quality control monitoring services to ensure that the Commercial Ticket Office contractor is in compliance with contract terms.
