Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to physically observe and evaluate carrier/agent/contractor facilities, equipment, and performance in the movement and storage of personal property for Department of Defense civilian employees/military members, US Coast Guard personnel, and dependents.

Key Responsibilities

Performs physical and virtual inspections of domestic and international household goods, unaccompanied baggage, mobile homes, and contract warehouse facilities. Advises military and civilian employees on shipment and storage entitlements to ensure quality move(s). Performs QA program administrative actions, captures carrier compliance data, and documents monthly inspections of agent/carrier/DPM contractor warehouses.

Provides oversight of Federal Acquisition Regulation based requirements, to include: Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Blanket Purchase Agreement and Direct Procurement Method contracts.
