The position performs accounts receivable support functions through the follow-up process of outstanding patient accounts within the Business Office. This position is located in Dzilth Na O Dith Hle Health Center, Bloomfield, New Mexico. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

Reviewing patient accounts to determine status of the account, making standard adjustments that require special analysis, prepare and process a variety of documents.
Performing work consisting of examination for accuracy, adequacy of documentation or citation compliance with regulations and justification of claims. Generating and maintaining appropriate documents on such patient accounts and refers to Supervisory Health System Specialist/Business Office Manager for disposition. Maintaining documents of all activity related/performed on patient accounts in patient financial folder.
Making decisions, devises solutions and takes action based on program knowledge related to patient accounts.
