Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to lead three or more workers to accomplish trades and/or labor work on a substantially full time and continuing basis. Leader is responsible to both perform the work assigned by a supervisor and ensures that subordinates completed assigned work consistent with trades and labor standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads a team of trades and/or labor workers. - Performs work. Performs nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work that is usually of the same kind and level as members of the work crew led.
- Performs the duties of a Lead Water Treatment-Distribution Operator: Maintains wells, water meters, backflow preventers, elevated and deluge sprinkler storage tanks, valves, fire hydrants, water main/service lines in addition to all components throughout the water treatment and distribution system. - Maintains safe work environment, conducts lab analysis and aids in installation, modification and repair of a variety of new and existing utilities, sewage and water systems.
