SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is: To provide an Instructional Systems Specialist, Instructional Program Evaluator, and Training Specialist developing programs of instruction for Air Operations Center (AOC) Formal Training Unit (FTU), including resident and distant learning, training programs.
Incumbent will also be the single point of contact responsible for Faculty Development, to include planning, administering, developing, and evaluating On-the-Job training programs for military, civilian and contracted personnel.
DUTIES: Applies professional knowledge of broad education and training program methods to develop formal training unit faculty, develop strategic plans, and recommend major program modifications that impact a broad range of issues that impact squadron-wide functions.
Plans, coordinates, designs, implements and validates major components of Air Operations Center (AOC) Formal Training Unit (FTIJ) training instructional design focusing on operational level command and control in at least one of the following disciplines: such as multiservice doctrine development and delivery; strategy; combat operations management.
Develops instructors through assigned blocks of formal training for advanced courses involving management, program administration, ISD instructional methods, policy execution, or similar subjects equivalent to graduate- level fields of study. Develops, reviews, and revises AOC FTU training instructional materials in accordance with established learning objectives.
Using training experience and knowledge of AOC FTI-J training, develops the plan and measurement devices for measuring achievement of instructional objectives. Using subject matter knowledge, evaluates, reviews, and validates effectiveness of test/measurement devices.
