Key Responsibilities

Summary The primary purpose of this position is: (a) to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing.

organizing and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the training development element and (b) serve as the instructional systems development expert during development of training materials for assigned specialties and programs Duties Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of a Training Development Element, ensuring that the Training Development Element complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities Manages all phases of instructional systems development (ISD) including analysis, design, development, implementation and validation of training Represents the Training Development Element with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
