This position is in the U.S. Department of Education (ED), Federal Student Aid (FSA), Technology Directorate (TD). The Technology Directorate provides information technology services for all FSA systems, promoting the effective and secure use of technology to achieve FSA's strategic objectives through sound planning, investments, integrated technology architectures and standards, effective systems development, production support, and cybersecurity services.

As a GS-1082-13 writer/editor, you will be responsible for: Leading editorial review and publication decisions across ED.
Designing and implementing ED publication programs and edit prospective publications to ensure stakeholder and policy relevance. Assuring quality control and compliance. Managing end-to-end publication lifecycle. Undertaking special assignments, planning, developing, and implementing projects that may involve providing editorial assistance, coordination and liaison work to ED writers and specialists.
